Eric does a a great job at teaching jiu jitsu awesome, friendly, respectful and most of all honest. One thing I love about this facility is how clean it is and organized. The culture at this gym isn’t cult like either it’s friendly but it’s tough. The Muay Thai is great as well people can spar exactly how you want it nice and steady but if you want to go harder than you can. Trent is excellent coach too, he analyses you while your doing a drill and see what your wrong try to help you make better adjustments and the work outs are crucial for Muay Thai but they do help you get better at conditioning for sure. If you’re looking around for a gym please don’t leave this one out from your list come in and try it out.

Great school to train at. Very welcoming atmosphere and family oriented. Coach Eric is a fantastic coach with years of knowledge in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he is also a great mentor to all his students. Come check out the school if you are looking for a new place to train in the Arlington area.

I started cross training with the gym about 2.5 years ago due to my work having a jiujitsu program and had a partnership with Eric. Coach Eric and the team were very welcoming. The mats were clean, the environment was great and all of the students/coaches were great too. Eventually I parted ways with my previous team and started training with Eric full time, it was a great decision. There is a nice mixture of jiujitsu (hobby & competitive) Muay Thai and MMA students on the mats. Coach Eric is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a place to train, definitely come check us out! For the parents looking to get their kids involved, we have a great kids programs so stop by and and check out what jiujitsu is about.

Great school with great students and an even better coach/instructor (Coach Eric). Students range from old guy hobbyists like me all the way down to 20-something MMA fighters, and you'll see all the different body shapes and sizes. Everyone gets the same instruction, level of attention, level of respect, and it's all provided without ego or macho nonsense that you find at some other academies. It wasn't my first stop when I was shopping for places to train, but it will definitely be the last for as long as I live in the area.

I began my Jiu-Jitsu journey almost 3 years ago. It has been a lifechanging experience. The teaching environment and overall culture of this academy is one of encouragement and fellowship. I am pushed to improve. All of the higher belts I have rolled with have helped me develop my skillset and kept me humble. There are no egos here. It is all about the sport and personal growth. I absolutely love the academy and all the instructors. Special thanks to Professor Eric Flores for creating a wonderful community to train within.

Walking into Silva BJJ, I never imagined the impact it would have on me. Struggling with confidence and feeling isolated, I found more than just a martial arts gym – I found a community that welcomed me with open arms. The journey started with learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but it became a journey of self-discovery. As I grappled on the mats, I grappled with my own insecurities. Thanks to the patient instructors and supportive peers, I gained not only skills but also a newfound confidence that extends far beyond the gym. Silva BJJ isn't just a gym; it's a place where you belong. If you're seeking more than workouts and want to be part of something meaningful, this is it. My review is simply an honest account of how Silva BJJ turned my isolation into a sense of belonging. Id sign up for a free class now

I have been here about a month now. The professor, Eric Flores, is professional and approachable. Everyone has been helpful. I have been treated respectfully, despite being new and clueless. It's a good environment. Wish I had done it a long time ago.

I have been attending this school for almost 3 years now and it has changed my life for the better. The skills and life lessons that Coach Eric and the rest of the staff teach are awesome! I've been with Aloisio Silva for a couple of years now. Training Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu. No matter what skill level you are everyone respects each other and helps each other grow there skill. Great instructors and teammates to be able to train with!

Fantastic gym with a great head coach and fantastic students. All ages, body types, and skill levels share the same mats and there's no elitism or cliques to deal with. Everyone is super laid back, very inviting, and extremely helpful when you have questions or just need some help figuring something out. If you're on this side of town, this is the place to be.

I've been with the Silva family for over a year, and haven't looked back since! It has been a great journey learning from great instructors that I call my family and everyone makes me feel at home. Every day I go to class, it has been a new learning experience for me. Everyone has been so helpful with showing me techniques and ways to get better! Thank you Silva family and for anyone looking for a home. Please contact Coach Eric!
